Frequently Asked Questions!

No. But you knew that. We aren’t monsters. They’re our pets and we love them. You still clicked for the answer though. Thank you for your curiosity.

Tapis Trees are for the young at heart but not suitable for very small children as there are sharp pins and small parts which may be choking hazards. It is a great gift for older kids however, and can be fun to decorate as a family.

There are instructions with pictures included with your Tapis Tree and video on the how to page of this website.

We think it’s easiest if you just hang it in a closet. You can take off any ornaments that may fall and put them in the heart bag and tie that around the neck of the hanger. If you want to store your TapisTree back in the tube, you may have to take the pins, lights and ornaments off for it to easily fit when it’s rolled back up. If it gets any wrinkles, it’s okay to steam or iron. (We intentionally chose natural materials over polyester blends for the sake of our planet.) Whatever you do, please remember to remove the batteries so you don’t get any corrosion.

Tapis Trees are perfect for cheering up small spaces. The pins are butterfly clasps so if someone has problems with small pincer grips they may need assistance putting it together.

Tapis Trees are handmade and while the canvas is very sturdy, we recommend that you treat everything with care. For minor issues superglue should be fine. If it is something bigger, please reach out to us!

Yes, but there are additional shipping charges.
